Workaday Creativity: Examples from the Indian Workplace is my work-in-progress book to be published b
y Bloomsbury, the publishers of Harry Potter.

Merriam Webster defines creativity as “the ability to make new things or think of new ideas”.

Using this definition as a guide, I'm building a collection of stories. Each story will describe product, process, or management innovation at an Indian workplace.

We constantly hear about innovation in Silicon Valley, Europe, South Korea, and other places. This book will tell stories of innovation in Indian workplaces and we expect it to attract wide readership.

I'm talking to the leaders of a representative sample of Indian conglomerates, stand-alone giants, rising stars, and the Indian arm of MNCs. Interviews are underway or planned at Godrej, Narayana Hospitals, L&T, Asian Paints, Marico, Chlorophyll, HDFC Bank, GE Global Research, Quintillion Media, Fabindia, Nestle, Paytm, Oberoi, Infosys, Biocon, SAP Labs, Dr Reddy's, Titan, Tata Motors, TVS, Himalaya, Aditya Birla, and ITC.
